Located just ten miles south of Springfield’s bustling urban landscape and a relatively short drive north of Branson, living in Ozark means that you have access to two of Missouri’s most popular cities, all while living in a scenic locale nestled at the base of the Ozark Mountains that is home to amply-sized properties and true Ozarks living at its finest.
Further southwest, Galena is a little closer to Branson, situated just minutes away from Silver Dollar City, Table Rock Lake, and everything else that Branson has to offer. This beautiful and secluded town is located right on the banks of the James River, providing residents with plenty of opportunities for fishing, camping, floating, hunting, and nature-watching. With around a little over four hundred residents, home buyers here will never feel crowded by their neighbors!
Just ten minutes southeast of Branson is Kirbyville, a small village of over two hundred people that is considered to be a suburb of Branson. Here, the community is quiet and peaceful, with one of the nation’s largest workforce percentages of telecommuters in the country. Kirbyville is also home to many designers, artists, media personnel, maintenance personnel, management personnel, and self-employed individuals. With one of the lowest crime rates in the nation, this quiet and peaceful town is perfect for settling down in the beauty of the Ozarks.
Finally, Springfield is one of Missouri’s most popular cities. Located about an hour north of Branson, this college town with a vibrant city atmosphere has plenty of opportunities for recreation, work, and education.
